Senior Leigh please help! I followed your video, and replaced the fuel pump cover ring by following your video. In my case, unfortunately for me, one of the 10mm bolts broke off when I was tightening the bolt. Even though I used a torque-wrench, it didn't click at the 5N-M setting, and evidently I tightened too hard. Help please, can this bolt or stud be replaced? I have done a search online and I was not able to find anything related to this issue. I appreciate your kind assistance. Thank you.

Are you still able to maintain fuel pressure? Because if so, consider visiting a metal shop who can weld you a new stud or possibly apply another solution
Thank you for your response Senior Leigh- I appreciate it. It broke off at the root. I am sharing some photos here. You can see how one of the studs sheared at the root. I also found out that another bolt sheared, the one to the left of the broken bolt, it did not come out from the base. I believe these bolts have a small "foot" or base that shears off when the torque is exceeded.
I've been thinking about the option of using a cold-weld epoxy compound--such as Locktite Epoxy Weld Bonding or JB Weld Original-- and set the bolt, hoping it will have enough tensile strength to resist the 5 Nm torque spec. If you do a close up on the metal ring with the bolts you will notice a Mercedes part No. A-171-470-01-33. I did a web search and could not find this particular part.

So which part of the bolt was broke off? On the middle of the bolt or on the root? Do you have the photos?
